Grover celebrates Winter Performance Showcase with PECO adoption of ArtsZone

Grover Washington Jr. Middle School held its annual Winter Performance Showcase on Thursday, December 15.  The evening featured rousing performances by the Grover Washington Jr. Orchestra, Instrumental Band, Senior Choir and Step Dance Team.

The Grover Winter Showcase also celebrated the official adoption of the Greater Grover ArtsZone community by PECO.  This event marks the beginning of a unique partnership between Grover, PECO and ArtsRising in the effort to expand artistic and creative opportunities for the students in the Olney neighborhood and beyond.
